Performance evaluation of high-rise apartment building using pushover analysis

Indonesia is a developing country that experiencing rapid development growth. According to the Central Statistics Agency, in 2020 population of will be 270.20 million people. The increase from year-to-year results increasingly narrow lands for development. Therefore, developers and businesspeople make best use this opportunity world construction by carrying out developments, including high-rise apartments. As an earthquake-prone area, planning process buildings, especially tall buildings Indonesia, must carried very carefully considering strength structure against high-intensity earthquake loads. Risk reduction strategies can implemented through building vulnerability assessment checking structural performance using pushover analysis. In study, 32-storey apartment was examined analysis method. resulting calculation 0.0023 lateral direction 0.0113 transverse direction. Through ATC 40 method it known result Damage Control, where after still habitable.
